meet the shooters!
day before i joined the shooters for dinner at amk. turn out i was the only girl who went! and no one told me until i saw dexter and he was laughing away! oh we went arcade to play this game (the touch screen kind: throw the balls at the screen kind) and we topped 4th! 5 of us played and it was super funny!:D SHOOT ranks 4th(:
then later we've tokens left so we played basketball.
jinting VS ke and i VS dex and sean.
and we all lost to jinting who did solo! he's a pro!
but ke and i's score was v close to his! haha.
yesterday been to seng kang stadium again to watch the games with ke and sean!
first up was ned against ger. which was quite disappointing because the outcome was a draw.
then next up was sgp against rus. and we were late for that match because we sat at pitch 1 and waited when the game was on already at pitch 2! lol. sgp lost that game but could tell they tried till the end. lost by 1 goal: 4-3.
later we bought the world cup shirts! buy 3 for s$50 so ke, dex and i got 1 each. yeah! and i got the yellow one with green prints(:
then we walked to cp and had our late dinner-MOS.
bused home later after talking a lot about sean and ...

ah, i'm trying to psycho myself into studying and making myself sit on that chair to finish the work.
finally i kind of get the engine started yesterday by doing chemistry topics. not a lot of work revised but i think it was still not bad, considering it's like the start of my revision period.
played and rest for 2 full weeks already! ahaha, totally not following the plan i had come up with at the start of the break.
i think i've truly dragged myself down into hot soup for my mids this time round. goner!
and the new plan i have now is to.. hehe... sacrifice my maths! i'm still struggling on that subject when i hadnt been doing tutuorials nor practising questions. but i will buck up on that subject man! but before that i will do more for chemistry and economics first.
and in the meantime, i will countdown to saturday when i'll fly to BALI!:D |

went to watch the game between Australia and Chile at sengkang pitch yesterday evening!
one of the goals was v nice 'cause it was deflected. so it went puck-puck-GOAL!!
haha.
and i was supposed to leave straight after that game because of class chalet.
but i wanted to stay to watch sgp play and so i stayed with dex and ke to watch sgp play till 8.
and i saw coach! (:
left for class chalet which was at ECP.
reached there close to 10 to watch birthday bash.
they used some cheap marble cake+ whipped cream to play with the 2 birthday boys and then messed the entire place up when they started lifting and throwing the sponge-like cake around. so the place ended up filled with the white cream and bits and pieces of 'sponge' around.
left shortly after eating the real chocolate cake (they called the first one the fake yellow cake!) when they were drinking and playing cards. and my sister was the one who drove us(+my abit-drunk-already dad) home!
now i want my driving licsense too!!
i want to learn to drive a motorbike too! then own my very own vespa<3
lol. that's one of my dreams too, you know(:(: |

had just been to the doctor's again!
this time is 'cause of the bad sore throat which wouldnt go away.
and i had hard time sleeping at night because i'll keep on coughing.
last night i even left the air-con room to my brother's room to sleep all by myself.
and now i feel quite drowsy 'cause of the medicine.
and i dread the sun too! my skin's still peeling):
gotta prepare lots of sunblock for my bali beach hols!
oh i want to watch men's junior hockey cup too! it's so near my place just that i dont know who wants to go and where to get the FREE tix!? |

went to dex's house for pasta yesterday!
initially ke asked if we wanted to join him for mugging session at xms.
turn out to be eating session at dexter's house.
'cause he just got some pasta making machine so we went to try.
it was dmn fun and cool to make your own pasta. see photos on facebook soon i hope!
the food was good plus we get to see him cook!
haha. he became shy in front of the camera when he was making the pasta.
then later mariah mentioned that pasta was not enough so he made his specialty- scrambled eggs.
wa first time i see ppl put butter and milk into the pot with the eggs.
but it was really nice! like that butter smell!
after sitting in front of the television till 4pm, we went down to the nippon paint shop 'cause dex is moving room!
he's going to get his own room soon! i think it's awesome to get your own room when you are 18 because you get to enjoy your own space and more importantly, you get to decide how to decorate the entire room!
so the day was good 'cept i didnt study at all! |

yesterday night was dinner with jiaqi and geraldine!
havent gone out with geraldine for a lonnnng time! and now she's got bangs too.
queue to sakae sushi was too long and so we went for MOSburger.
woo! havent had fish burger and corn soup for ages too(: still as nice and my favourite!
but going out with the 2 of them will surely meet something funny and interesting.
the waiter messed up the drinks- peach tea and lemon tea- when they ordered their food together.
so, jiaqi poured the milk into the supposed lemon tea and passed to geraldine.
gan was like why is the milk tea tasting so weird and sour?
and jiaqi couldnt tell between lemon tea and peach tea when she was drinking!
so i tried and i drank milk in peach tea and it was so not nice!
then the girls went back trying to get a new cup of drink and luckily the waiter was nice enough to do it for them.
another part was when jiaqi and geraldine finished up the chilli and gan kept whining it was jq's fault.
because gan ordered a set while jq ordered a burger and a drink. so gan thinks that when the waiter gave 3 packs of chilli, technically 2 should go to her. so she started asking jq to go get more. wah my goodness, i forgot that gan wouldnt care when ppl look at us. so in the end i stood up and went to get chilli for her instead.
'best' part of the night was really freaky for me.
i dont want to be mean or bad or whatever negative to the girl/lady but seriously she scared the wits out of me for that!
gan and i went into the toilet and we were like why didnt jq come in so we can take photos together.
and jq really walked in afterwards and she actually had her camera in her bag.
but when she wanted to start taking photos, it was realised her card got locked.
took some time before realising what had happened and i guess we were too engrossed in fixing it because none of us saw the girl coming.
she pointed at our camera and said she wanted to take photos with us. initially i couldnt hear what she was saying because her voice was so high pitched and i thought she was a foreigner. turn out she was speaking chinese.
so we went blank and stared and smiled at each other, like we know what we were all thinking about.
and then she pointed at me saying she wanted to take photo with me and i was totally ...
she came really close and still lean against my shoulder. my goodness!
i dont know her at all! ):
she looked like she's younger than us but gan and jq thinks she's actually older.
i guess we all knew something's quite wrong and so we kept quiet. so she eventually gave us her email and left the washroom. and i was mouthing ' you do not send that to her' to both of the girls when they were like giving me the 'i know' look. we went out of the toilet without taking anymore photos and went to see where did the girl go. after looking for awhile, we realised she was with 2 adults so i guess she's quite harmless afterall.
the girls still asked me to walk in front of her to see if she would recognise me.
so the
last weekend just seemed abit too unreal to me.
like a dream or something. |

i think playing hockey on the field is really hard.
anyway coach treated us girls to drinks and food after our game at SRC:D
man, the pool is freaking nice! very tempting to go there for swimming.
later some girls went to RC for dinner with the guys.
but in the end, it was down to just kriff and i with the guys.
and we walked all the way to the cathay.
anyway, dinner was fun actually.
it didnt turn out to be awkard at all.
which was good.
and i've just finished watching Akai Ito.
it was 11 episodes long and so i wonder how are they going to show it as a movie( the one after koizora .) |

2 papers down!
H1 geog is bad.
H1 gp is bad too.
the compre was a killer.
after the paper, clara val and i went down to cineleisure to watch DANCE SUBARU which was really nice.
minus the part with DBSK. lol! i dont get why they have a korean group to appear in a japanese film? i know they're really hot in jap but it still doesnt make sense to have a foreign group in when your country's got talent right?
but i dont like the character liz park. she's nice but that was out of a hidden motive. i dont know why i felt total against her at the end when she admitted that she was going to compete against subaru. she's like ... so scary. hidden purpose behind her sweet smile.
anyway we saw shi hui and rachel in the theatre too.
but they've got better seats. by the time we managed to buy the tix, we could only choose from the first 2 rows):
there's so many movies i want to watch!
ice age 3- the squirrel met his love! ahaha:D
harry potter- i've stopped at book 3 i think. lol. jq wanted to lend me the next book but her teacher didnt give it back!
new moon (set to be out nov 09)- i've read twilight and seen the movie. reading eclipse now. yeap, i skipped new moon. haha
and this movie after koizora set to be out on 26june i think- i almost bought the new books from kino.
oh angels and demons! shooters watching??
and i'll be going to bali on 20june!!(:(:
i miss going to beaches! but i hope nothing will change the plan. esp the H1N1.
i shall mug at the start of hols and go out for fun for the few days:D

i'm going to take my H1 geography paper tomorrow and frankly speaking, i have no confidence at all.
partly because of the fact that i still got the worst grade for it out of all my subjects even though i put the most effort into revising for it.
it kind of crushed part of my confidence.
and to know that geography used to be my best subject in my secondary school time.
anyway HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TIAN RONG!
yesterday we went out for dinner together at ajisen@cp.
and for the first time, i finished the whole bowl of my ramen. haha
then later we walked around the place waiting for sharon to come when tr didnt know.
cause she had to work till 10pm but she left early to meet us.
best part of the night should be the cake smashing moment! |

i had just removed my stitch at the doctors.
and the lesson learn is to ask for the old kind of stitch which is non-dissolvable. because my stitch came out and i had to go to the doctors again to remove the scabs, dried blood and the thread. if not, i think it may stay there for as long as it could when i dont dare to touch it.
anyway i'm still scarred.
i was waiting for bus outside school yesterday and i saw an advert.
and i think this blog is really interesting. go click! there are many older posts to check on.

been to ccab to watch the hockey game, VJ vs CJ. it was a really good one and the guys managed to fight and score a draw against them. and the goals were really nice though i kind of missed the start of the shortcorner when i was talking to denise. lol. but zen's goal was awesome! all the girls went high after we saw the 2nd goal! haha
then after the game, i walked to the indoor sports hall thinking that i can watch vb but it had ended already. aj lost to hcjc.
man, i only watched for 5 minutes i think! during half time for hockey match i walked in and watched some scores and some losses for aj.
oh i really miss watching a full vb match! all the old xinmin sl days! haha

last week was busy with birthdays!(:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUNYI!
haha. after going for the science exhibition, we got to chomp chomp. intially i had a headache on how to go without telling her but i didnt how to go so i had to tell her. anyway i managed to let her get a surprise when she saw jas on the bus(:
and rose also ended early so we all met and went down together. pix are all up on facebook, posted by rose i think. but i look spastic when one side of my mouth cant smile with the stitch on.

met after watching guys match against RIJC.
got to far east flora, wanting to buy flower for the girl but in the end, i bought potted plant for my mum as mother's day gift instead. anyway, i went to perlini and action city and both cashiers commented that the flower was nice(: haha
and i bluffed the girl that was her birthday gift and she looked so shocked. cos she thinks the flower will wilt and die in her hands.
ate at manhattan when we ordered 3 platters to share. i thought it was nicer to share platters with a small group of friends. rather than have your own set. oh ya! i saw a very cute boy! lol. i mean a young child in the baby chair sitting just beside me and he smiled at me! my heart almosted melted! hahaha. his eyes were so big and the eyelashes were so long! tr took photos of him and i have them! and he reminds me of care bear( and i just bought a yellow one to put on my bag(: ). i can imagine mariah cant stop saying him cute la.
been to some flea market with sis yesterday and i bought stuff! met jasmine yeo there too but didnt see gan.
bought shirts and hair bands. so my mum saw and she's started to tell me stop buying clothes.
oh and i saw zuyao at the central too! when i was getting my carebear which i had been eyeing on since they first started selling them in singapore. so that's like ages ago. haha
just watched antique bakery and the show's really GAY!
but the cakes look so yummy can:D
oh ya! we had dinner at nikon mura @ yio chu kang last evening and i had waffles with strawberry ice cream. but i realised there's something wrong with the teeth on my top left. cause they will hurt when i eat cold stuff. i think that hit on the pitch was really bad):
i hope my teeth will stay still. seriously la!
and and my sister got her friend to get big bang's stuff when she was in korea.
so cool right? and i think it's a lot cheaper over there.
but i dont think she managed to get me posters which i cant find locally. |

committed some stupid mistake and caused myself to get stitched):
got hit by a hockey stick during ytd's game and got a cut near my mouth. got to the hospital with jean and waited from 6 till 9pm.
my parents came and then jean left first. man, really thnk her a lot cos if she hadnt been with me initially, i would really have been at a loss.
anyway, jean called syam and found out we were down by 1. i was like CJ's supposed to win! as in, CJ played so much better during the game. then i got no mood to turn up for school the next day and so the doctor gave me 2 days mc.
it was my first time getting stitched in my life!
and i totally was not prepared to lie down in an operation theatre with the lights shining on my face. cos i was picturing the doctor stitching the cut when i was sitting down and my mum was beside me. it felt so serious suddenly! you cannot imagine how it felt like when i was alone, cold and hungry somemore. then the worst was the cleansing of the wound before the jab. it was seriously pain. the doctor was like 'the hockey stick is very dirty right?'. and the cleansing took quite some time even after the area got numbed before she started stitching. and i can feel the sharp thing poking into the skin though i dont feel any pain.
now i cant open my mouth too wide.
so i take long time to eat. yesterday i couldnt even have a proper dinner.
and it's quite hard to speak. it'll be like i'm eating my words. especially hard to pronounce P and B. PPPPPPain!!!!!

now i dont even think i'll go watch the guys match CJ vs AJ later on.
anyway i think they'll get into 2nd round. so it wouldnt be their last match.

not feeling well since this morning. sucks like hell when my stomach keep contracting on and off.
and i've got a bump near my ankle. it's dumb to get it cos of sonia's rebound. then cause it's the same ankle as the one which i landed on and strained during the match against sajc, now i think i should get an ankle guard so that it would be fine during the coming up matches.
and i kind of flew and fell during training so now i've scraps and abrasion like on my four limbs. the worst is the one on my right knee. touch it only and it'll ache badly. so yesterday's training for me was not that intensive cos i kept sitting out. but choong yi's got her wrist twisted which was definitely worse.
yesterday after school got the msg from dex asking for shooters to meet up and have dinner outside xms. and ke challenged me to see who'll reach the kpt faster when i was already reaching! so he owed us bubble tea. but dex and junyi reached and waited for us for more than an hour 'cause we ended late. and we saw tang lao shi too! we went back into xms after eating and met shi ting and sok loon who were back to study. oh my goodness! it felt like going back in time to study nights la. anyway so when the guys left to play basketball, i went to join in after staying in the canteen with the girls for a while. it was dmn fun to play with them la. i think we all have some nba identity and they couldnt believe it when i can score la. haha. but it was then i realised the bump near the ankle isnt that light cos i feel the pain when i run and dribble. afterwards we stayed in the canteen for a while more before leaving for iced milo and iced lemon tea while the others headed home. so now ke doesnt owe me drink anymore! haha. actually it's nice to meet up every now and then so that we can take a break from work and play!
oh ya and i think i broke my junior's nose during thursday's pitch training. i seriously pray that she's going to be fine. |
